Abstract
Pyridoxine hydrochloride disintegration kinetics was studied in the liquid preparations of
multivitamin. The over-all disintegration of pyridoxine hydrochloride was found to proceed by pseudo-first order kinetics. Some stability constants, e.g., activation energy, t 0.90 at room temperature, etc. werr also found. Effects of sucrose concentrations as an adjuvant were found negligible.
Stability of sodium hydrogencarbonate in liquid digestive preparations was studied, and effects of glucose, sucrose, and sodium saccharate on the stability of sodium hydrogen carbonate were also studied.
Promethazine hydrochloride disintegration rates were determined in the liquid preparations of antiemetics, and the effects of thiourea, sodium hydrogen carbonate, niacin, niacinamide, and EDTA as a stabilizer of promethazine hydrochlolride.
